The last time I ordered 4 from fleetfilters, they only had 2 Blues left, and sent me 2 whites in substitution. They said the blue's were discontinued and replaced by the whites.

P610875 is the current number per the Donaldson website.

For giggles look it up at Ryderfleetproducts.com

My last two took 2.5 weeks to show up as they are "special order". Not an issue for me as I keep one on the shelf all the time.

Same filter, different color.

They are not the same I think there is a Wix powercore filter that is the same as the old blue one.

If you ask Donaldson, they are the same. The blue is no longer made.

Same design but different media. The Donaldson Powercore (Blue) has the ultra web nanofiber media layered over the cellulose substrate. The blue is better but also more expensive which is why just about all vendors stopped stocking the blue. Also, I don't thing the blue is still available for the DMax.

It seems we have a little disagreement and now I'm totally confused as to what I'd get if I ordered the factory replacement filter. Does anyone know if it is the same filter or not? I'm in the market for a new one and want to stay with the factory quality filtration. I believe from the above posts that the blue one is discontinued and replaced by the white one. However, is the white one truly the same or is it in fact a different media. Is the WIX filter truly the same as the old blue Donaldson?

The media is different but the difference in performance is so minor it's really a moot point. Especially since the blue is likely no longer available for the DMax. If I remember correctly the efficiency difference is something like 95.8 vs 95.5. Both are way superior to the old pleated filters. I have a blue one installed now but will not loose a moments sleep when I have to switch. :)

I tend to agree with a bear on this -the current Donaldson number P610875 is not blue nor a nanofiber media. Originally under a different part number the blue filter was nanofiber/powercore composition what Donaldson calls a Powercore G2. The current offering is powercore construction but not nanofiber. Still one of the best air filters out there without the nanofiber along with being pretty reasonable in cost. I paid $22.xx per filter on 2 purchased last month.

Thanks for the help. I'll likely stick with the Donaldson then even if it is white without the nanofiber.
