Working on putting in a pto in a '04 3500 dually. I have not been able to find the electrical pigtail on the wiring harness for the transmission. Has anybody else run into this. The truck has the harness in the dash. Also wondering how much noise is acceptable from the pto. This one is quite loud. thanks

Does any of this help? http://www.gmupfitter.com/publicat/bull/bull53.pdf

As for noise, mine are rather quiet. Are you sure it's not the pump, rather than the PTO box?

Thanks for the reply
Fairly sure there is to much back lash with the recomended .030 gasket. Going to put a thinner gasket in there and see what happens.
Apparently 3500 were not pre wired from factory? Will have to do some creative wiring.
thanks again
