I have a 2007 classic chevy 2500 crew cab short bed. I am buying a new brute force 750I tomorrow. I just thought about it, will the kawasaki brute force 750 fit behind my truck with the tailgate down? I have a toolbox. I know from the toolbox to the tip of the tailgate down is 79 inches? Any ideas if it's going to work?

mine fits ok w/ the tailgate down and i have a toolbox also.
If it dont fit just put the front tires on top of the toolbox.

Haha, that's why I love my side mount toolboxes. It fits right in and I can put the tail gate up.
79" is 6.58ft and you have 6.5ft (or slightly less) inside your box with the tailgate up. So unless your 750 is longer than 6.5ft, tie it down and your good.

It'll fit. My Sportsman fit in my truck with a fuel tank with plenty of room and in the other with the gate closed. Both were short beds.

Mine fits with no problem, but I have to leave the tailgate down.
I have one of those low toolboxes that only stick up a couple inches from the top of the bed. The front hooks were hard to get to, so I tied some strong webbing to them and use that to tie off. Saves me the trouble of trying to get under the box.
Just a tip that works for me.

wheeeewww.... the sweating stopped... THought I was going to have to take my toolbox out when I needed to haul it which would have been a pain! The fourwheeler is 86.4" total length, not all sure where the rear tire falls on it but I do not have a huge toolbox, it's the standard aluminum that fits inside the bed and sits a little lower than the top of the bed. I am replacing my suzuki Z400 which says it's overall length is 72" so that's what made me worry. THANKS for all of your replies, any other hints or anyone with the exact fourwheeler and toolbox is still appreciated!
