Have an 05 duramax and I am huge efi live fan, any idea how long it will take them to crack the new codes for the 2011 motor? If so I am assuming I have to buy the program again and sell my 05 with its current program??? I am ordering an 2011 this fall for sure!!!

Assuming you have the FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune product already you will at worst simple need to purchase another VIN license at US$99 (assuming you don't have one of the two the product ships with still available).
If you have the FlashScan V1 Scan and Tune product then yes you will need to upgrade to FlashScan V2 to support the newer vehicles.

Yes, it's going to be awhile, if at all.
GM has placed all the stops in this computer Per Ross's post on the EFILive forum.
He said they would revisit development after the first of the year to see what can be done, if anything.

Yeah current solution for the EDC17 controller in the European market is to actually open the weather tight case and probe the CPU. Pretty risky business...
