With engine running foot on brake, with the truck in drive , the truck is lunging forward, and without touching the accelerator. What is going on.

Probably having some fuel pressure regulator issues. Try using some 2 stroke oil added to the fuel and see if it clears it up or helps it. Search the site about it and you will learn alot about it.

Careful with that. I realize this is apples and oranges but, my '03 F250 6.0 had the same issue. I went through the fuel pressure possibilities too. Wound up being a computer wire harness that had chaffed through.

When it started acting up, it got significantly worse, and fast! Just don't mess around too long before taking it in.

This ain't no damn ferd, this is a very common problem that the 2 stroke oil will help or clear up 9 times out of 10.

FYI some times if you have a modded cp3 or a lift pump with too much pressure it will do that and it has to be fixed with tuning.
