With engine running foot on brake, with the truck in drive , the truck is lunging forward, and without touching the accelerator. What is going on.

: lunging at dead stop in gear Blk04HD 03-30-2010, 12:27 PM Probably having some fuel pressure regulator issues. Try using some 2 stroke oil added to the fuel and see if it clears it up or helps it. I went through the fuel pressure possibilities too. Wound up being a computer wire harness that had chaffed through. When it started acting up, it got significantly worse, and fast! Just don't mess around too long before taking it in.
