: $535 to install boost and pyro??!! thebestofindica 06-29-2005, 12:20 PM Local diesel shop wants $535 to furnish and install the cheapest autometer boost and pyro gauges. He also says that he will only install the pyro post-turbo. Is this a hose job or fair?? Seems like a lot of money to me, but would like other opinions. There are lots of threads that address the process and any lingering question can be asked here with an answer just a mouse click away. Mine is set to display boost, EGT, engine temp, and corrected speed. Plus, there is the power! bobo 06-30-2005, 09:06 PM I like my gauges better than the attitude display...I use my attitude to display trans gear(and tq. conv. lock),engine temp, trans slip,and throttle position. I use gauges for boost and egt. The boost on the attitude isn't real boost psi.
