How do I remove the rear seat on my extended cab. I've removed the nuts on the four floor studs. Does it just pry up or am I missing something?

BillE 03-30-2010, 07:50 AM Its been a looong time since I pulled mine out (needed to make a 'dog bed'), but yea, up and out. Tis a bit of a bear but you are on the right path. Xsta Z 28 03-30-2010, 11:22 AM It is a pain. Need to unbolt the seat brackets, also at the center of the seat where the seat belts go those need to be un bolted. The there are verticl "slides" on the back of the cab that the seat back is captured into. The seat needs to be slid upwards to release it. Cumbersom. Found one of mine torn up and the other one not even installed from the factory when I pulled mine out the first time. I thought it would cause a rattle but it hasn't. theunderlord 03-31-2010, 12:09 AM I managed to break most of them when I pulled mine out for the katzskin install... I wedged some foam in there, and that solved my rattles. justcrankn 03-31-2010, 12:41 PM I got it out after I realized that those straps bolted to the floor need to be unbolted.
