I am getting a 4" MBRP system.

I was wondering if it is worth buying the front pipe or not?

I have been reading other posts and it sounds like it is not worth buying, but I could be wrong. I have a LB7 so I don't have a cat. The reason I am getting the system is due to high EGT's when I am pulling my boat on the towing mode. I have a Edge attitude/juice. Thanks for any suggestions.

Get the entire system now. I bought a Banks cat-back thinking I wouldnt do the front pipe. Well 1 1/2 yrs later, I bought a MBRP frontpipe. It would be cheaper if you went with the entire system.

Did you see a difference in your EGT's by adding the front pipe to your system?

There is a slight reduction in EGT's with the 4" front-pipe. Spool up seems to be a bit quicker also.

What DSTRBD said. Also, the sound is much better.....WOT sounds like a jet, out the back end. :ro)

Edge82,

Since you have a LB7 go for it, slight EGT drop, slight spool up gains etc. Not to mention the little more turbo whistle you get when you have her to the MAT! Call su if you have any questions, we have all the aluminized, 409 and 304 MBRP systems in stock, duals too!
