Hey gents, how much would a '03 2500HD crew cab/ short bed weight with fluids? Can't find this info in owners manual. Thanks.

YUP...........

Most trucks should fall between 7000-7300 lbs.......

My truck, with a canopy wife and two kids (8 and 6) and the lab weighs 7700#.

Mine is right at 8000 #. I weighed it last week. When I am in winter mode, I weigh 9600 #. What a tank!

Can't you take the GVW off the door and subtract payload capacity(1500lbs, 3/4 ton)?

Nope - All 2500 HD's have the same 9200 lb GVW regardless of options, cab config. or bed length.

You can however get an good idea by subtracting the CCC (cargo carrying capacity) which is on a sticker in your glove box plus -150 lbs for each passenger the truck is rated for (5 or 6) from the GVW to get an approximate weight.
