Well I have my heart set on the 20x9 black KMC Hoss for my truck. I am probably going to wrap them in 33/12.5/20 toyo M/T's or 275/60/20 cooper Zeons. So what offset and backspacing should I go with? I def like it when the wheels sit out from the truck, it gives it a nice aggressive stance. But I dont want to go too far out. I am going to get some Bushwacker pocket style flares in the future to help with things getting thrown off the tires. Post up some pics of your offsets!

I have been searching but I cant really find a good answer. I can get a -12, +18, and +30 offset. I assume the 30 is going to be the widest? But I am not even sure what will fit. I know the place I am getting them from wont know. So does anyone here have a +30 offset KMC wheel?? Id like to see how it looks.

+30 will sit in the most and -12 will stick out the farthest. Positive offset tuck the wheel in under the fenders and negative offset pushes the wheel out.

Well first off, thank you for clearing that up. I have never dealt with buying wheels before so I am really clueless. Does anyone have pics of a -12 offset on your truck?? I was looking at some pictures of a +18 offset and they really didnt seem to stick out at all. But then again I am not sure how wide of a tire they are running. Like I said, I want them to stick out some but not too much.. It is hard to keep the rock chips off black paint in PA.

20x9 wheel with 5in back space and 33-12.5 toyos and you'll be a very happy camper :) it will stick out only a couple in. you will need to level the truck and trim alil

I have the bars cranked up now on my truck. Hopefully that will be enough. I know I'll haveto trim a good bit. So you are thinking the -12 offset then?

I think 5" backspacing on a 9" wheel is a 0 offset. You can check here.

Here is what I have found I can order for my truck. I know to keep away from the 30's. Seems like one with 5" backspacing would be right between what they offer. I am going to order these at like 2 oclock today though so I def need to figure out which one to go with. I wish I could find some pics.

I am doing a similar setup. I am going with a 20" wheel with a -12 offset with 33. I run 33s now with it leveled. It did require a little trimming on mine. I have will be doing a 4" cognito or bds lift in spring to fix the cv angle and the harsh ride.

that will look nice. But i have a fabtech lift that already pushes my wheels out 1" on each side so if i baught the -12 offset it would be another .5" on each side. I do not want it sticking out any further than it is right now.

I think mathematically, going from a zero to a +6 will keep retain the look you are now. That will compensate for the additional tread width of the 305/55R20.

I am assuming your current tread width is about 10.5 or is it closer to 10? If 10, then consider +12 because you are adding 1 inch of tread width.
