Any one have a part number for the rear u-joint. I did a search and really nothing came up.

I think '06 was the last year for 1410 series drivelines in the Duramax.

Bearing cap size is 1.188 for 1410.

So I think you need a 1410 series U-Joint.

Maybe CNY6.5TD will this this and confirm my input, he makes lots of excellent posts on drivetrain stuff.

I steered somebody wrong on an 06 not to long ago, told em it should be 1410 series and it turned out to be 1485, but on the same token i have an 06 in my shop now thats 1410 series, and i got a guy a new aluminum shaft for an 06 back in the fall and it was also 1410. So 06 it could go either way but i believe anything previous to 06 should be 1410.
