I was never really into the look before but seeing all those trucks at Indy this past weekend has changed my mind. What do you guys think? What style looks better?

Just don't do the 8" stacks like that burgandy Dudge ext cab dually that was out there. Nasty. Or the Dudge with twin stacks side by side. There should be a new contest at IRP next year - Best Looking Stacks and also Worst (stupidist) Stacks.

I seen a white dodge with stacks 3ft higher than the roof last night in NY on 287, now that was stupid.
Was it a green dodge that had the side by side stacks at Indy?

I liked the stacks that are alittle lower than the roof line & slash cut, like the ones on NLDP's truck. Another thing that I liked was a piece of diamond plate with stacks coming thru it, in front of the tool box.
Im thinking of going with a black deep tool box, is the black paint or powder coat?

Look up the Suncoast open house pictures. There is a red reg. cab dodge(tuned by Garmon), with perrrrrrrfect flapper stacks. Very:cool2:

On a reg. 5" looks better than 6". But with a ex. or cc 6" are the way to go. If you use miter/slash cut pipes you will need to make some sort of water trap.;)

a buddy of mine has a set that he would like to sell. he said they are stainless 5" but the tips are dinged up a little so they would have to be slash cut. PM me if you would be interested in them.

I highly recommend 6" mitre cut that are at or a little above the cab . I love my stacks!!

hehe... Thats my truck.. The silver dually.

I guess I could have washed it...

I did race a black duramax there, and he didn't exactly pull ahead of me... ;)

That stack setup of mine is actually very quiet, much quieter than my Dad's Duramax with a 20" straight through magnaflow muffler.

MCummins.... you asked me at the parking lot if I was going to say anything about your stacks. I said... to each his own or something like that. The only thing you're missing is a set of longhorns

The video I have uploaded shows your truck out there laying rubber.

coalbucket1,

I saw that one and another one that had the stacks together... they were slant cut. I think it;s neat how people are coming up with different stack setups. I think I'm going to do the flat top ones.

Hoot a set of flattops would look great on your Dodge.

He just wanted something different, so that is what he designed.
By the way he likes Dodges, I think he has (5) 12v's at his house.
