Theres this gold coating on my injector lines and when I cleaned them with a scotch brite the coating came off and i was left with bare metal. I want to use this anodized paint on the bare metal lines. I cant get any of the VHT high heat stuff in town. would the non high heat stuff work for the fuel lines?

sure. Hi heat stuff is for ex. manifolds. Regular paint works just fine for the whole engine.

What type of engine are we talking about here. If its a LB7 Duramax, just leave it, they are oil soaked all the time.
