Anyone know if there is a digit in the Vin relative to the tranny? Ive been searching a whole sale sight and there are a couple trucks that are unspecified transmission in the description, and if i could tell a zf6 from an alli without having to call on each truck that would be great. I tried doing a search on vin decoding and such but that netted very little useable info. Anyone have the answer?

It shoud list all the options of the VIN's you pump into it.

Thanks, ill have to book mark that, but sadly i bought an automatic, the price was right and being in the middle of a refinance i dont have the option of borrowing any money down so i paid cash and settled for an older allison truck.

You can always swap in the manual later on...
