I live in the NE and was wondering what tires you guys like for snow driving. I am replacing the 37's with some 35's. I have been thinking about the Dunlop Rover Max Traction tires. The Pro Comp Extreme MT I currently have work great in the snow, but I want something a little bit more conservative.
Thanks folks!

Check out Pro Comp All Terrains. I have two sets of them, and they are great. They have their severe weather rating as well. I had a hard time getting stuck with them in my 6.5, also took some fun away because it was hard to throw the truck sideways around corners in the ice/snow. I'm sure you know, but get the skinniest tire you can for snow, that way the tires will cut through the snow, down to the ground where you can get traction.

I have read great things about the Dynapro RF10's. There is some good threads in the wheel and tire section on this forum.

BFG Commerical Traction Tires. I live in the Colorado Rockies and have snow 6 to 7 months out of the year, these are the best i've had so far, they look aggressive but they are quiet, You can even get them studded if thats allowed there.

x2 I like the BFG AT's but these are cheaper. Very cost competitive.

Wife's boss runs them on his 3/4 ton Rams and loves them for plowing. There were what I was going to run but I ran across some Goodyear Workhorse XG's on CL for CHEAP. They are OK but if buying new the BFG's were cheaper.

I wish i could run those, but I need more height than they offer. I had BFG a/t before the lift and monster tires went on and really liked them. I guess I can't complain too much. I sold the truck to a friend and then here did the lift and tires. I bought it back after he got tired of It for about the same price. $3800 worth of free tires and lift. I actually gave him $500 more than he asked because I felt bad.

kind of an odd thread for a 6.5 section.....isn't there a tire section?
