Okay, got mine delivered to me today. Any install tips or techniques from previous installs. Will be the first time installing nitrous and want to make sure I do it correctly and where it looks the best. Thanks!!!

I'll post some pic's here in a little bit, they should help you with some of the placement of the system.

Thanks. Going to install it next week with the propane and train horn. Now all I have to do is to figure out where I am going to hook up all these electrical connections. I saw where someone on here hooked their Powershot into the switches on Trippins mount. I have mine prewired but one of the switches is a toggle on the Powershot.

gunbunny: Since your're doing those two installs at the same time; dont forget... The air goes thru the horns and the pane thru the engine unless you want some very big flame throwers... ;)

As I stated above I am getting ready to hook up my Power Shot, SD Nitrous and a train horn. I would really like some info (and pics if you have them) on where you would tie in all the electronics. I would like to hook the two Power Shot switches to Trippins mount. As I understand relays would be the way to go. Not sure exactly how to do that. Also, lots of connections for the Nitrous....they are very well marked to where they go....would still like some information on your set up.....especially you IBDMAX'N. Does the N2O itself get hooked into SD's manifold? Should I hook the compressor (Viair 380) for the train horn directly to the battery? With a fuse of course. Can't thank you guys enough in advance!!!

I attached my sylinoid for the N2O to my afe intake box. There are tons of places to stick stuff, it mostly depends on you. Some like to try and hide it ect. If you have any q's I'm sure wade or SD are a phone call away or feel free to give me a ring. My # is in the 911 forum

I think its the12volt.com that has some very good write ups and basic stuff on relays. USE THEM on your wiring stuff. Especially on the N2O stuff, them noids suck a large amount of amps, a bit over 10 I believe.

Sorry but I've been having some problems with my digital camera. I will try and take some more pic's this afternoon when I get home. I'll also see if I have any already saved on my computer.

Stay tuned

I mounted my switch under my dash so it could easily be removed without a trace.

I mounted my solenoid on the firewall with my SD hobbs pressure block. I routed the nitrous feed line behind the battery and down inbetween the quarter panel.

Yep, just with the muffler removed. I run it just the way it is at the track, it usually suprises guys what a sleeper it is!!!

Wade are you injecting the pane in at the manifold?
& another thing, I forgot to ask SD at Indy, does the kit have a purge solenoid on it?

The line that you see running into the manifold isn't for injecting propane, it's actually the boost activation line for the powershot 2000. That's how the powershot knows how much propane to inject at what boost.

I inject the propane pre-turbo in the air box, look at where the filter minder goes and you'll see a black tube running in the box, that's the propane injection. I just fed the line up past the MAF sensor.

The standard SD system doesn't include a purge kit but I'm sure if you call or PM Michael he could set you up with something.

Feel free to ask me anything you want, I'm more than happy to help.

Cheers, Wade

I've been purging through the motor. Works fine but I am thinking of putting a purge in it since I think purging the way I do eats more giggle gass then necissary.

I haven't had the chance to take a good look at a propane setup yet, so that makes sense.
It's been awhile since I've seen a stock intake, had to remember where the filterminder was.
If I ever consider running pane, I'll have to ditch my K&N for something else. The filterminder is on the end of the airfilter & the MAF is very close to the end of the tube right before the intake.

Couldn't you run it through the SD manifold instead?

From what I have read you want your pane coming in pre turbo

very clean set up.
how does the truck run?
If I may ask you how much did the set up cost you and where did you put the bottle.
