Only five 400HP+ passes limped a stock + CoPilot trans, and according to Mike L, destroyed the C1's. Truck has less than 6k miles, and is 2 months old.

Today, Mike installed ATS clutches, new design ATS convertor, pump mod, and Transgo in ~6hrs! :eek: If it wasn't for the insane traffic, I'd be driving it right now. Had I known he was that fast, I'd have hung out and waited. Err... Then it would have taken 12 hrs! ):h

I'll pick it up in the morning.

Now if my stupid lift pump would just arrive! :D

6hrs that is fast. 2wd would make it a bit quicker. I guess once you've done it a couple hundred times you could do it with your eyes closed. :D

Those boosted launches are hard on stuff that's for sure.

That was a very quick install.. Wonder what he can do if I take my truck out there... Maybe set a record for install on a complete SC3... Have to time it and see...

I was suprised to see what you did to the C1s. Totaly black and warped steel plates. C3s are very bad and so are the C4s. C2s are fine. Usually 2WD trucks are easier on the C1s than a 4X4; not in your case. Casper runs pretty good now ( make sure you tell Kat she is toast).

If I were to take bets on the record install time I figure with no interuptions and all the parts waiting to go in Mike and crew could do a 4x4 in 2 1/2 hours tops. That's three guys a$$holes and elbows flying. :ro)

What would be an average install time for SCIII on an 05 4x4? I surprisingly have a pretty fair tranny shop down the street here in Santa Barbara.

If they know what they are doing and can dedicate the time to working on just yours it should be less than 6 hours.
