Does anyone know for sure if the 2005 A-pillar is the same part number for the 2001~2004 Silverado's? I'm ready to install some round gauges on my new diesel.

The only way it will be different is if you have the Bose stereo in which case it will have a cut out for the tweeter.

Thanks for the quick reply Max Power. Since my Silverado has no Bose tweeter, I should be able to use a single pod from Auto Meter et al. without any fit problems?

They are the same, just select speaker or not and you're ready to go. We also have the plastic primers and interior matching paints available for you. call us if you have any questions etc.

Have you considered putting them in the overhead compartment?

Overhead compartment is a much nicer look in my opinion.

Thanks for your replies and suggestions Trippin, Mark and Max. I do like the look of the overhead setup but as I get older, it's harder for me to adjust looking up and back down as opposed to the a-pillar. For me, it's a better line of site for my brain. Just making final decisions about adding a boost gauge, but most likely I'll just stick with pyrometer only. I'll be in touch about the paints Mark.
