I have a non-bose stereo, so I have no "pink wire" to attach my blue wire on the PAX adapter to. Apparently, the blue wire is just a straight through wire. I thought it was going to turn my amps on when the radio was on and turn them off accordingly.

Since the wire is just straight through, the amps are shut off when I shut the ignition switch off (if I use a switched source). Therefore, I loose the nice little feature of the stereo staying on after I turn off the key until I open the door. Has anyone fixed this problem?

if you have the non bose system there should be a powersource wire Im not sure what color it is , but www.specmo.com will or a GM manual from HELMS. will know. it is not a bad thing though , if your sitting in your truck with it not running and that sub amp is drawing all the power you could drain your bat. in know time I know your next remark is ,(KNOW WAY THERES TWO OF THEM) trust me ,if you are running a good high currant amp it will suck your battries dry, capaciter or not , and you will be out in BFE when it happens
