Just trying to weigh the positives and negatives of getting a GMS deal on an '05 this week, or waiting for an '06.

I dont really _need_ the truck until September or October.

Also, I will be leasing for tax reasons. Wondering if any of you have insight on what residuals will be like on a freshened '06, as well as the ability to get one at or near invoice.

My brother works for GM. He says prices are to stay about the same with possible increases throughout 2006, depending on initial 2006 sales. Also, rumor has it, the 2006 GMC Sierra has a new look (front and back)...

Unless there is something strikingly new my guess is that the MSRP will probably go up a little but after the initial surge incentives of one type or another will be back in effect, the depth of which will be based on overall sales. I believe buyers are tuned to incentives and won't buy without some. Detroit has trained us well.

There are actually rumors of some GM models being reduced in price for 06. Not sure if the HD's are included though...
