So I Was Drivin Down The Highway And All Of A Sudden It Felt Like One Of My Rear Tires Went And Was Flat, So I Pull Over And Realize The Tire Was Fine But There Is A Problem With A Ton Of Red Fluid Pooring Out From Under. After Further Investigation On The Side Of The Highway , The U Joint Out Of The Transfer Case Is Destroyed And The Vibrations Took The Yoke From The T Case Out And Destroyed A Chunk Off The Back Of The Tranny Off The O/d Case. . I Had My U Joints Replaced 2 Weeks Ago - Looks Like Im Not Gonna Be Paying For It Which Is A Good Thing.

Yikes :eek: Sucks about the tranny.... Sweet about free U-joints though....

Would those be the heavy duty u-joints in your sig?

i do have a pic of the damage n my cell, ill try and see if i can get it up here, and the big u joints in my sig are on the front shaft, this failure was in the rear, the shop had a tech go look at it and decided the failure was due to the retaining clip being improperly put in, so they are going to cover my whole repair.
