The 379Xs are really nice looking trucks. When I see that Pete like the one above....all I see is some guy with money to just piss away. At least the $139,000 makes money.....that one above just says 'just look at me'. I think the whole motor home/camper thing has gotten way out of control.

NoWake200 I thought the same thing when this young couple and 2-infant age kids got out of this rig. How in the heck do you afford something like this? How much is the 5-th that goes behind it too. I went back into my camera and did a zoom on one of the pictures and it Said "Starlite Studios" right under the passenger side stack. Great if he owns it and not taking anything away, but I think he borrowed it or a family member owns it. Great truck still.

I agree with you, it is like the sub-divisions I see poping up 'From the $800s'. How does everyone afford these things  :(

For haulin' cargo I'd agree but my reference was more in thoughts that it would tow one sweetheart of snowmobile trailer beautifully. More of atoy hauler not a real tractor.

Have you ever been in one of the 379X's? All bushed alluminum dash and sleeper chrome everywhere and 8" stacks. Thats class. I worked at a Peterbilt dealer when those trucks came out and man did they look good. Should have came to our Peterbilt they sold our new ones for $120,000 I was told. Oh and by the way not to bust anyones balls but Peterbilt does not have a U in it.:p: Just thought that I would add that.:joke:
