None of the local dealers have a dark Blue truck for me to look at. I will be ordering my 06 while in Iraq ( I am home on 2 weeks leave and will head back next week) and the dark blue metallic is the only color I haven't seen real good pictures of. Clean and in good light is preferred. Thanks

Here is my Blue '05 GMC, this color is noticably darker than my previous Indigo Blue '01 Chevy. The darker it gets outside - the blacker the paint looks. If the sun hits it right, it almost looks a bit purple.
BTW thank you for protecting our country!

I concur, we all appreciate the sacrifice service men and woman have made to provide our daily freedom and have provided since declaring our independance. Indigo blue is one of my all time favorite Chevy/GMC truck colors. Stay safe aziator and hurry back to your new rig whichever color you go with.
Brian B> Not to hi-jack this thread but that pic brings back some memories. My brother owned a 92 Chevy 3500 regular cab in Indigo Blue w/a big block. That truck made me want to be the truck guy that I am today. He bolted up Thorley headers, dual flowmasters, added chrome wheel simulators and a chrome push bar. While I drove my Toyota pick up (1st vehicle) I drempt of owning a mans truck one day.:blahblah: I'm gonna have to send him a pic of your rig now.:)
