Well I finally had time to put on my exhaust last night and to say the least it was pretty easy install, in fact I did it myself. I did the cat back system to avoid the codes and excetra but I will probably be looking into the front pipe and cat delete. The catback just sounds about the same as stock and I don't see how air flow improves when it still has to flow through the 3.5'' pipe back to and through the cat. If anybody has some input or advice please fill me in as to what you have done or would do in my situation.

The Banks front pipe is 4" & it will sound much better.
The cat back system just attaches to the flange behind the cat, you keep the stock front pipe with cat in.
Check in the vendors section, IIRC there's a few that sell it.

I have the exact setup you are looking for. I started with the Banks 4" catback and had the same experience as you. I just installed my 4" MBRP front pipe/cat delete and it is a little louder and has a deeper sound to it. It doesnt sound all that much like a diesel exhaust, seems more like a gas engine with exhaust. A small amount of turbo whistle but nothing extreme. I didnt notice any performance difference, I just wanted the cat out of there. If you order the MBRP 4" front pipe be prepared with 4 bolts, nuts, and washers since for $122 dollars they cant include $2 worth of hardware.
If you decide to get it and need install help send me a pm.

Dave01PSD,
The hardware is included in the MBRP front pipes, was your box damaged? Maybe UPS lost the hardware bag??? I have had this happen a couple of times with the front pipes we have shipped all over the US in the past.

when i got my MBRP front pipe it came with all the bolts but missing a washer and nut. Like Mark said, the box was damaged. UPS must like to screw with peoples heads.
