First do the exhaust manifolds have gaskets?
This is tough to explain but as I let the clutch out and the engines gets a bit of fuel it sounds like two or three heavy diesel knocks. If you've ever started a D7 CAT on ether in -20 degree weather you know exactly what I'm talking about. I've just started to notice it. IMy first thought is exhaust leak. Could it be an injector acting up? Any thoughts?
