Truck 2001 3500 6.6 diesel, allison
This truck lurches at stop, feels like being rear ended. Going to grease the yoke tomorrow.

This truck has a two piece drive shaft, with center support bearing, the slip yoke attaches to rear drive shaft, with the splines on the front drive shaft section. Will greasing the slip yoke help this problem, or is this fix only for Single piece drive shafts that have splines in the tranmission.

I have replaced center support bearing, and all 3 u joints

Thanks for any help or advice you can give

Greasing it should take care of it.

Try greasing the yoke first, if that does not work maybe you need one of these in this thread.

Grease the splines. Mark them before you remove them, align them when you put them back together. Good Luck, should take care your problem.
