Has anybody tried putting these bulbs in the fog lamps? The factory ones are 37watts. Will there be any problems? David

I put some 60w bulbs in mine and it turned the reflector inside the housing a light blue color from the heat.. I pulled them out after that. Don't think the housing is large enough to support and dissipate that kind of heat.. Good luck

If you go any higher wattage it will melt the housing and the lens.
This has been discussed befor.

:exactly: I did it on my 2002 and was lucky enough to get the dealer to replace them under warranty. I have not tried it on my '05 yet.

I run them in my 05. I only turn them on when I meet some SOB who is glaring me with his fog/driving lights on in clear weather. I almost ALWAYS get flashed the high beams when I do this as they are VERY obnoxious...

I took the low beam bulbs out when I put in the headlight booster adnput them in. Had them in for a year and no problem.
