Nick is great to deal with, give him a call and he can answer any questions you might have.

I had it and was nice to have at the time. Since then he has added more but I do not know. Give him a call and ask what he has in there for you. But with what you have in mods I say just have him build something that work great for you. Even a DSP5 tune be nice more than likely.

Chev,

Our collection includes enough LB7 tunes for a healthy, clean running truck. There is also a DSP5 tune in that section that you can work with to build your own DSP5. In addition, you'll be able to access our comprehensive flash tutorial section which includes over 20 videos covering a wide range of EFILive topics like Boost, Fuel Pressure, Timing, Trans talk, etc... Here are a few tunes from the collection that are suitable for your trucks level of modifications.

LB7 280rwhp (30hp Tow Tune)

A mild upgrade for the LB7 trucks. This tune will boost output by about 30rwhp. Shift feel is very near stock. This tune will not smoke much or run hot and is generally fine to use with a stock transmission. It's the safest tune in the library, and relies on fuel tables very near stock.

LB7 320 rwhp Imperial

A mild upgrade for the LB7 trucks. This tune will boost output by about 65rwhp. Shift feel is much refined over earlier versions as is throttle feel. This tune will not smoke much or run hot and is generally fine to use with a stock transmission. It makes an LB7 a hair bit stronger than an LBZ.

LB7 DSP5 30+, 50+, 100+,200+, Max Effort

This script can be used to quickly build a DSP5 tune that stores some of the other scripts listed here. The tunes are listed in order from full counterclockwise to full clockwise. The lowest 2 tunes are fine to use and tow with on a stock trans truck with a healthy trans.

AGRESSIVE

LB7 500 RWHP Imperial

A very aggressive tune for the LB7 trucks. This tune will boost output by about 250rwhp. This tune will only see it's potential if used with a lift pump and built transmission (Suncoast 3 or 4 w/1056 or precision converter recommended). This tune will run hot if you stay on the throttle for 10 seconds +, watch your gauges and use your head. Head gaskets, rods, and other hard parts may have a shortened life from running this tune for extended time periods or abusive driving.

When you purchase the tune library, do you have access to all engine codes scripts or just one engine code? My dad and I were planning on splitting the cost and he has an LMM.

You get access to all tunes for all engine codes. He just added a DSP5 tune for the LMM that is great and saves a lot of time. It gets tiring copy and pasting to make a DSP5. The videos are great. They really taught me how to start tuning on my own and how to keep things safe. It's well worth the money and you won't regret it. Just get ready to spend all your time playing around with EFI live, it's addicting.

I'll vouch for Nick's tuning! Excellent customer service since the day I started with him. It's time for me to renew my library script and I think it's worth it. I can call him any time and he will answer or call me back.

Nicks tunes have all worked great for me and he tuned my buddy "the funk"'s truck too and it's running 11s on the stock bottom end and head gaskets no problems whatsoever. I also buy my dsp switch's and license's off of him and there's never been a problem on that end either.

Colin left off one script for the LB7, here the description of that one:

LB7 Race 'TheBac 12.40'

This is the tune that Tom Bacon Ran his 12.40 @108+ on to set the LB7 stock turbo E.T. record.

It's an aggressive tune that will favor a strong CP3 pump and run poorly on weaker pumps.

This is Tom's list of mods made before his record setting pass:

S&B intake
Silverline Exhaust
FASS 150 lift pump
Superdiesel modified intake horn (turbo)
Superdiesel modified LB7 regulator (only to keep rail pressure up)
PPE boost valve
BD manifold
Duramaxtuner "TheBac12.40" tune

Every engine code in the library has a similar collection of tunes. They're all written and refined by me - for you. My focus is smooth drivability, premium shift quality, and low smoke (even on the big ones). Tuning Duramax trucks is my full time job, I know this software very well.

If you have any other questions about it, please ask :)

I bought my efi from nick and also his library. Never had a problem with them and loved them. His tunes were the only ones that got me into the 12's and I tried quite a few.

Wow. Way to perpetuate the idea the mods around here are corrupt!

Just so it's clear, I have no issues with Nick or any of his products. My issue is how the one person who had anything negative to say was treated, but this isn't the proper place to discuss that.
