: how long does it take to replace injectors? jhduramax 06-27-2005, 10:34 PM On vacation and my truck starts to smoke real bad. Pull over and diesel fuel all over the truck... Stuck in Conn. reservations in NC and home is MS. Just wondering how long this could take... I have had Great a day with GM. Needless to say, my truck finally got towed and they will be reimbursing my hotel. But it took a lot. And they will look at in morning. An 8 hour job and i have to drive a crappy rental for 4 days is garbage. I'll bet it's true but you'd think GM would get it by now... Duramax's have injector problems and Dealers should have a "Sh_t" load of them available !
