Just wanted to introduce myself on here formally. I am now the owner of a 2007.5 CC SB Duramax. It has the Z71 pkg, black UWS toolbox and bed caps, LT pkg, with nav, black leather, tinted windows, backup sensors, chrome running boards, power rear window etc...pretty much fully loaded. Not a scratch on her : ) Has 26k on her, and i picked it up for 33k out the door : ) Pretty good deal i think. Love it so far, but after ridding in my buddies duramax with a ppe and exhaust i HAVE to do some mods hehe.

Future plans are, Edge or PPE tunner, exhaust, and some dynomat : ) but im going to let her get out of factory warranty before i do anything just yet.

PS, i have a rattle in the rear door i think, has anybody experienced this? if so is there any fix?

Welcome to the forums and nice truck. As to the rattle may be in the mid frame support between the doors. Just have to pull it and look around. One thing about these plastic trucks is they rattle anywhere and at anytime. Usually temperature effects most. many post on rattles in the LMM.

Welcome to DP! We've almost all had some rattle issues with our LMM trucks. There are plenty of good posts here to help.

You can do sound deadening and not void your warranty. Be sure to look for alternatives to the one brand. There are others out there that are much more affordable.

welcome aboard. Are you sure the rattiling noise coming from the rear door isnt the squeaky door seals ? Cause that is how mine sounded, like something was loose in the door but it was just the door seals.
