Can you calculate the invoice price of a truck in the La. region based on a MSRP? If so, the msrp is 41,120 and thanks in advance for any help.

If you are after a rough idea, invoice price is ~85-86% of MSRP. That should get you close. Don't forget about TTL though. That adds up fast.

Yep, you're right about the ttl. I was just wanting someway to crunch some rough numbers to compare to the advertised GMS price. I have a friend who used to run a dealership in Hempstead, Tx and I remembered hm tellin me a long time ago about a way to calculate. but close is close-enough. Thanks for the reply.

You can find out the dealer invoice amounts at Edmunds.Com or KBB.Com (Kelly Blue Book). However, they do not have the co-op advertising charge that is invoiced to the dealer. It can vary from period to period from 0 to over a $1,000 per vehicle.

As part of the deal, tell the dealer you want a copy of the invoice. If they say no, move on to another dealer because they are most likely hiding something.

You should be able to locate a truck on either Chevy's or GMC's website, then hit the button that sez "employee pricing," and get the GMS after-rebate net.
