Q: Why should I be nervous about starting my truck after it has been in storage for 5 months?..... It has never been started in the 5 months of storage.

A: Should not be nervous.

FYI: After 5 months, my trusty '95 started right up (when I say "right up",, I mean it) without even a puff of smoke. Just wanted to post something positive here.

I never had any troubles out of mine once it set for a period of time.

same with mine, starts good no matter how long it sits

mine has set for 6 months . i put the battery charger on for a couple hour and started it up.
