Do you have to pull the transmission out to install a trans-go shift kit in an 05?

Yep, do some work on the inside as well as the valve body which would be A LOT harder if mounted..

Transgo shift kit requires pulling trans out, disassembling front rotating assembly ( input drum containing C1 and C2 clutches). Drum is completely stripped, C2 piston is restricted in two places, cross drilled and C2 piston return springs replaced with new ones. Valve body seperater plate is drilled in 2 places and both trim valves replaced. Converter drainback valve springs are an optional replacement depending on year.
