I have read somewhere that guys will put their trucks in 4x4 when racing to keep the tires from spinning. Makes a lot of sense but how fast should you go in 4x4? I always thought you should keep it under 50?

Your not going to be able to hook up w/ too much boost on a 2wd w/o some suspension work.
Just start lower, like 1000-1200 rpm and keep bumping it up and see what works best.
Track conditions make a big difference too.
I wouldn't build boost for any longer than u need, builds a lot of tranny heat.
