: Best Lift For 95 K2500?

I am thinking about a lift for my 95 K2500 6.5L and I was looking for some input. I am thinking about a 2" to 4" just for a little better tire clearance and a nicer stance.

2" would likely be fine for what I am looking for, but I don't really like the idea of cranking the bars all the way up and running sharp steering and CV angles. I have had experience with this on my 03 Dmax and it seems to be hard on front end components.

Due to this, I am considering a 4". Do all the 4" systems drop the steering systems and front diff so the working angles are similar to stock?

Any particular makes better or worse than others?

Any idea/opinions would be great!

RCD Suspension makes a kit for our trucks... you have to go a minimum or 4" with their kit but there's not a lot of options out there for our trucks primarily due to the 2 piece rear driveshaft. They offer a bracket to modify the location of the carrier bearing on the rear drive shaft.

My truck is a regular cab long box with a one piece drive shaft. Does that make a difference?

the only real variable is the driveshaft... since you have a one piece you have way more options than me. There are a number of manufacturers that make a lift for your truck. I personally think superlift is probably one of the better ones. No one has really mentioned anything particularly wrong with other systems except for Pro Comp. On the pro comp website they explicitly mention that their system causes modoerate to extreme vibration above 25MPH in 4WD Hi.

Thanks for the info! I will defiantly be avoiding the Pro comp system if there is a vibration issue. With the climate I live in, I regularly have to use 4WD on the highway and the vibration would likely tear things up quickly.
