Im running 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers and I getting ready to buy wheels and get rid of the stockers. I need to know if I should get 8" or 10" wide wheels. I have the tbars cranked. Does anybody have any pics of 285s on 10s? Thanks

8" will do with a 285...
If you go to www.nittotire.com (http://www.nittotire.com), you can see the size specs for their tires, and they recommend 8 for a 285.

I have 285 Coopers on 10" Ultra Magnum wheels. Had them on prior to lift kit with TBars cranked all the way up. Upgrading to 315 BFG's, but I have to go back down to an 8" wheel to get clearance. Worked just fine, with only minor rubbing prior to lift. Made the truck look tougher too.
My 10" Ultra wheels are now for sale.

Go with the 8's, a friend of mine is running 10's in 285's and I don't like the look, some may, but to me the tires look too much like balloons then and the center sticks out of them.

I don't have a digital camera, but here's the link to the wheel on Ultra's site. I'm asking about half of retail, $400.00 area for the set of 4.

Well I guess I'll stick with 16x8's. Now what backspacing do I need? Im thinking about gettin a set of Mickey Thompson Classic lls. I checked the web site and it shows they have a 4" backspacing. Will this work?

I am running 10 inch in the back and 9 inch in the front. Looks very good IMHO BUT my wheels are only 285/60/18s. For a 16 inch wheel 10 inch is too wide and not approved by most tire manufacturers.

The wheels are 8 lug and will fit all GM 8 lug and the Dodge 8 lugs. Furd is metric now, so they won't fit Furd. PM me and I will clarify on what I am asking $$$ wise, but you are correct. I am recieveing PM's from interested party's. I will respond to PM's and sell based on who PM first to last.
thanks
