:help: Per GM TSB #76-43-01A regarding the faulty front differential actuators, I have installed the new actuator but am now stuck on finding power for the new wiring harness.

The TSB directions in step #8 are as follows -
" FOR 1995-97 INTERIM VEHICLES, LOCATE THE 4-WIRE CONNECTOR (C120) ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION. SPLICE THE BRN WIRE OF THE ACTUATOR HARNESS INTO CAVITY D OF CKT 241 (BRN) ON THE ENGINE SIDE OF CONNECTOR C120."

I can read fine but these instructions are a little murky to me :confuzeld as to exactly which connector to try to tap into. I have included a pic of the wiring connectors on the left (drivers) side of my tranny for reference. I'm assuming that the wire they are indicating is only hot when you shift the transfer case into 4 high or 4 low. Is there someplace easier that I could tap into for the power needed?

If anyone has done the procedure themselves, I sure could use some help with this last step to finish up. I'm going saltwater fishing tomorrow and really would like all 4 wheels to turn as I launch my boat on that slippery ramp. :(

The brown wire you need to tap into is the switch on the transfercase. Run the harness with the metal tape on it, down the cooler lines and to the top of transfer case. Tap into the brown wire on the transfer case switch. There is a 4 wire connector about 6-8 inches from the transfercase switch in line they are talking about. If you can't see it just hook up at the switch you'll have enough wire. If you have a 1 ton it is different let me know. Tim

Got everything hooked up and with the ignition on and the selector in 4 high or 4 low I am not getting power to the actuator from the brown wire on the transfer case switch. Fuses are all good - :wtf1:

The brown wire you hook to goes staight to the fuse 4wd.Do you have power on thebrown wire with the key on.If you do .do you power have on the original 2 wire conector lt blue wire when in 4wd. In 4wd it closes the switch on the transfercase and applies 12volts to the lt blue wire. Tim
