After putting on my cognito braces the steering shaft now has an issue what appears to be underneath the rubber boot at the midpoint of the shaft. When I turn the shaft the shaft bends awkwardly and scrubs an exhaust bolt--is there a joint under that boot? I ran out of time to remove the shaft but was hoping I might get suggestions
