: Need Help Finding (Turbo Mod.) Race57cb 03-15-2010, 02:19 PM I will be changing my exhaust with in the next week. While in the process of doing that I want to do the turbo mod I have read about on this site where you open up the end of the turbo to almost 3inches. I thouight it was in the DIY section but I cant find it even after doing a search. Can someone point me in the right direction. I've never heard of it, if your talking about having the stock turbo modded to have a bigger compressor wheel stuffed in it then its possible. Not a DIY mod though. You need to have your turbo sent off to someone who can do it, like Fleece Performance or Danville Performance (not sure if I have the names speeled right). I know fleece can fit a wheel that is a 2.8" or 71.5mm inducer. Other then that there isn't really anything you can open up like that. lb7duramax88 03-15-2010, 10:01 PM i did the turbo intake mod! not 100% sure but i think its for the lb7's only because they have alluminum intakes instead of plastic, i'm sure someone with more knowledge on this will help!! :thumb: or search (intake horn mod) i believe its there!! "Now" back to chqanging the exhaust, with going to a turbo back exhaust, (no Cat) what problems/issues will I have?
