At work we have an international rollback with an Allison in it and evry once in a while it will slip the converter and it just will not lock in like it should. When it does this the cruise will not engage which sucks when ya need to run the bed. I think it is electrical but I'm not sure. The truck is the first year international went all computerized. Any help would be great.

So, what exactly is the problem? You can't high idle it after engaging the PTO?

It wont lock in gear and when Im on the road the engine revs way up to get moving and after I run it long enuf it will lock in and work fine.

Ok, need some more specific info.
Does it rev when starting to move? When shifting? Randomly?
Is the dash display blank, blinking, or does it not have the line under the gear selection?

It always revs high when u try to get it to move and the display in the dash goes blank. Sometimes it will go in to third gear and stay in third till you shut the mess down for a few minutes then it will be fine for a while.
