Question:

Anyone know how difficult it would be to go from a 6" Pro Comp lift to a 7-9 Cognito?

Anyone done it?

I haven't done it but I have removed an RCD and put in a Cognito so if it's not a full drop ProComp kit and it is a spindle lift then it should just be a matter of removing the Procomp and installing the Cognito, taking in to consideration you may have to use a longer block in the rear or replace the rear springs.

It is a full drop. So there may be more involved I think.

Yep, there is. IIRC you cut off the UCA ears and used the UCA drop down brackets supplied with the kit?

I bought the truck with this lift on it, but I believe you are correct by looking at it.

you would need to get those parts that were cut off welded back on in order for you to use a cognito kit

the procomp is an uca drop kit so you would have to remove the procomp first, and have the stock uca mounts and the stock bumpstops welded to their original location. You will need all the stock parts that were cut out in the install of the procomp to go back to stock and install a spindle kit. Hope this helps...
