I was wondering if you can upgrade my 2006 2500's standard heating controls with the digital control panel. I pluged it in and everthing works. But what about the harness for the blower? Any help on this would be great, Or if anyone else has tried to do this. Thanks

Short answer is no. Sorry. You have to change the entire HVAC housing, plus all the dash wiring and the sensor in the ceiling.

I have a 2002 and wondering the same thing or can I change to a non digital dual control panel?

No. Again, its an entirely different HVAC housing and control system, esp going from a 2002 to a 2003+ setup. Completely different electricals.

Now THAT Id have to do some research on. I know my wife's Blazer has the 01-02 Computer Climate Control but I dont know if the HVAC sensors are different to the manual controls.

At least I may have a possibility.

Has anyone found anything on this, was doing a search for switching my 01 manual controls to the manual dual control type. That is the one with the two sliders for the temp control, right? I think that is what you guys are talking about being a possibility, at least that is what I am thinking of trying to find out about.

i've looked at trying to swap my 02 to one from a corvette. in theory it might work, the connectors are the same if i remember but the pin out is slightly different. From my understanding I intend to pursue this at a "later date" read once i fix my lb7 fuel rail pressure problems and move to my next unit. I haave all the pin outs saved if you are interested.

when you say computer cliame control are you talking about the ones that have the temperatures around the round knob or the ones with the digital screens.

I know that between the ones with the manual knobs that have temp numbers around and the one that don't there is a significant difference and you have to replace the almost the entire HVAC system to swap them.

What does the one from the corvette look like? I am curious about upgrading to the unit that is in the trucks that are just a couple years older than mine. The ones that have sliders that go up and down to control temp on each side. I don't think they have temp sensors or anything they just have hot to cold setting.

anyone know if the manual dual climate control will work in the older style trucks? Talking about the manual control from say an 04 and putting it into an 01.
