I have a 97' gmc 2500 6.5 and I was curious how do I know if i have the 3/8' lines or the 1/2"? I know I can just take them off and find out, but I am going to order them before I take them out.

That year it can be either. Just order our kit and you won't have to worry about what size you have. Our kit fits both.

They are 1/2" and 5/8", not 3/8". You should be able to measure the OD of the rubber hose and figure out what you have. Or look at the block and see what size the fittings in the block are. 1/2" lines use 3/8" pipe, the 5/8" lines use 1/2" pipe threads.

Can't always got by the fitting in the block. You can have 3/8 fitting with 5/8 line. 97 was a bastard year and I've seen all possible combination's.

Stacked62, I've had it with leaking oil cooling lines. I ordered my Lubrication Specialist kit from LanduytG today. I haven't heard a bag thing about it.

I'm gonna do it on my '93 2WD first since it will be simpler. As soon as i get it figured out and installed I'm gonna get one for the '96 4x4.

EXCELLENT customer service so far. These guys act like they want and appreciate your business!
