: Trouble codes galore
Max Power 06-26-2005, 02:28 PM I finally got my Suncoast L3 in so now I am playing around with some of the programming box I have accumulated.
I was running the Bully Dog Dyno Dominator stacked with the Bully dog power pup 150hp tune. This stack smoke like nothing I have ever seend before. I can fog out a 2 lane highway for the entire 0-1xx run. It doesn't seem to have as much power as I think it should for the amount of black smoke. Too much fuel perhaps.
I threw a P1093 after probably 20 runs 0-1xx mph so I read the codes.
These are a list of codes, P1093, 1223, 1226, 1229, 1232, 1235, 1238, 1241, 1244. All except the 1093 are Injector output circuit.
Does anyone know what this means?

Max Power 06-26-2005, 03:29 PM I'm running the predator stacked with the BD now. Seems better mannered any maybe a bit stronger. Time will tell. Trans seems to be holding it :D

Time to spend more money I guess.

lakingslayer 06-27-2005, 12:25 AM The Dominator could have a wiring problem to cause the 8 other codes. The 1093's as I'm sure you know are getting quite common with the LLY's. I've set a few of them myself.

Max Power 06-27-2005, 12:37 AM The funny thing about the P1093's with this box is that sometimes it will set them on after the other with the cruise set running down the highway. I reset it with the predator and bang it comes back. I have to shut of the truck and reset the code to stop it. Wierd.

IdahoRob 06-27-2005, 10:39 AM I've yet to ever throw a 1093. I've run pred. on kill and been running the ppe hot and still no codes. Maybe not stacked, I still have enough fuel, who knows, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Dmax Tim 06-27-2005, 05:27 PM after leaving Indy last nite, when I get on the freeway drop the hammer and it stops @65mph, and I can't reach the predator in the backseat.
Had to stop and reach it, left it hooked up all the way home but didn't set another 1093.
Have the predator on 40hp and juice on 2.

gtguy67 07-22-2005, 05:40 PM I set my first one yesterday after a year and 34k miles w/ Predator on 65. I goosed it a little out of the corner and set it. Cleared it and got home...changed the fuel filter, set the Pred to 85 and it ran great until today, I passed a slow car and set it again. Stopped, pulled out the Predator, cleared it and proceeded to have to clear it continually about as fast as I could push the button. Finally stopped again and set it to stock, no more codes. Anyone had any luck replacing the high presure valve???

Do you get the 1093 when you hammer it then let off then get back on it? If so you may benefit from the valve. One thing is that the replacement valve could be worse than your original one. Midwest measured my replacement valve and it was bad.

On they was to LACR my truck was throwing them like that as well. as soon as i cleared it, it would come right back. I found that if you slow down, 55ish in my truck about 1500 RPM then clear it, it wont come back.

Yep, jumped on it and when I backed out it set. The weird thing is I have only set it on the freeway. I can run WOT stoplight to stoplight and it has never set the code.
If the valve may/may not be a fix, how about a lift pump? After running with Predator for so long the stock tune seems so anemic, so I hope to get it resolved...
