It’s time to replace the tires and I thought I would do the wheels at the same time.
I’m down to two choices that I like and can’t decide between the two…..
1. Go up to 17” wheel Gatlin?
Wheels, I like the Liquid Metal Gatlin’s…. rated at 3,415 lbs $189.00
17x9, +10mm offset
100016
100012
Tires, Nitto Terra Grapplers AT Rated at 3,197 lbs $193.00 each
LT265/70R17E1 121R B
2. Stay 16” with Colt?
Wheels, American Outlaw Wheels… rated at 3,415 lbs $164.00 each
16x8, -6mm offset
100015
100011
Tires, Nitto Terra Grapplers AT Rated at 3,417 lbs $174.00 each
LT265/75R16E1 123Q B
The 16” tire gives me 3,417 lbs where the 17” tire only gives me 3,197 lbs….
The 17” wheel gives me +10mm offset and the 16” gives me -6mm….
Other than weight (and about $200), does anyone see any problems with either setup?
