You have to have the GM number to find them on GMPartsDirect (Not the AC Delco #)

New filter part # 12633243

Lots easier to go to Auto Zone, O'Reilly, Parts Plus, Bumper To Bumper, etc, and no shipping costs.

I am yet to see anything other than AZ, LubeFiner, or other off brand filters at the major chain stores. You see WIX at a couple of them, but good luck finding a Delco/Racor...especially a coalescer.

Many of our vendors (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=223) carry the coalescer filter. I'm sure they will chime in shortly.;)

Yup.
My local Checker and autozone both had no name filters for a little over $40.
Got a Racor from a vendor here for $35 and no sales tax, so even after shipping it was cheaper than buying locally, and I got an OEM filter (Racor makes the Delco filters).
This is not always true, (Allison spin on filters are cheaper locally), but definitely true for the fuel filters.

Google is a good tool but the results are not always what you would expect. Remember Google and other mainline search engines are greatly influenced by the advertising connections not seen.

The best information for buying comes from within forums typically. Pricing, responsiveness, and vendor commitment are somewhat freely discussed. More so at other web forums than here.

It is difficult to post a good priced non-vendor deal here sometimes as vendor response is a bit negative and the mods protect vendors just as the rules for the forum policy dictate. I do understand the reasons for these policies just don't always care for them.
