What would give more airflow and faster spool of the turbo--hot and cold intercooler tubes or a cold air intake (Banks or S&B)?

Probably the boost tubes because the stock intake is adequate unless youre making big power. You can do the PPE airbox mod for free and save your cash for the tubes;)

Change the LB7 air horn first. ;)

I agree with both of the above, I would do the intake last.

And the manifolds and up pipes from rick help a lot too.

definetly tubes. I the intercooler is fine. the tubes is the first step since they are undersized. The intercooler has 3" connections. it should be fed with same size or larger tubes.

I did the tubes (both) and it made a huge difference. I also insulated the IC outlet tube (cold side) just to help even more.

Just my 2 cents

Yes, the air horn is one of the mods I was considering.

What are the up pipes and mainfold you are referring to, DrHolliday?
