does the hushpower muffler take the drone away?? In your humble opinions will it take power away or does it flow enough? Any body Tested? Any recommendations.
Only reason I was wondering, I like the rumble just not while I have a load and pulling the MTN hills and passes.

Your sig says you are stock and you have "drone?" I don' think any performance exhaust and muffler will make it drone less than a stock exhaust. Probably one of those "depends on the meaning of drone" questions.
We have an LLY with a 5" straight pipe on the quad cab chassis. It does not drone to an extent that is annoying. You can here it, but it isn't bad.
The LMM has a 4" MBRP exhaust and muffler on the extended cab chassis. No drone on it. Again, you can here it, but it isn't bad.

It helps with the droan, but not enough for me. I put the cat back on and left the DPF off. I don't think it hurts the HP at all. It is 4" and you can see thru it. I now run 4" MBRP from cat thru Hushpower muff and it is pretty quiet.
