If I run an Edge Attitude do I need more than the factory exhaust.I cut my muffler off for more flow and sound:ro) .Can I get good results this way or would a 4" or 5" be best? Thanks

Exhaust was the first thing I did to my truck...Couldn't stand not to hear the whistle :D DSTRBD 06-28-2005, 11:13 AM Stock will work just fine, however, a full 4" system will greatly improve your egt's and turbo spool up. The stock exhaust is very restrictive and opening it will help your engine breathe better. A 5" system is more for looks as there is not much if any gain over 4". Hope this helps. Mark Craig 06-29-2005, 12:08 PM 01Duramax6spd, Deepends a lot on what you do with your truck, if you tow a lot an exhaust is a very important piece to keep EGT's down. I also noticed you have a 6 speed, with an exhaust you will get boost sooner, it drops so bad/fast when you shift any help will make a difference.
