There are new colors well maybe just 1 I don't remember it was posted in one of the new for 06 threads, but I couldn't find it. It was in a link to GMs site I didn't much care for the new colors, so I don't remember them.

Dark Gray Metallic is being dropped for another color of gray with a new name.

IIRC, wasn't there going to be a different shade of Blue, too? Something like blue/green, but not teal...

So, what are the three different LT trim levels? And why are there three? How much better can it get? Personally, I like the LS, I can still get a bench with the LS. With the LT, you're stuck with the buckets.

Uh, fellas.... Help me out here. Does anyone know why there are going to be three LT levels? And what's the difference between the three?

So am I reading that right, you'll have to manually pull your mirrors out? If thats true that kind of sucks, thats one thing you always see Ford and Dodge guys driving around w/o a trailer and have their mirrors all the way out, I just figured they were manual and the driver was lazy.

I think what they did with the trim levels is re-name them like this:

Old name New Name
WT = WT
BASE = LS
LS = LT1
LT = LT2
didn't exist = LT3

Maybe Chevy will get a "Denali" level like GMC has, and that's what the LT3 is.

I have all the luck picking stuff out that gets only a few model years!

My '03 truck was Arrival Blue, which got dropped. My current truck is the Charcoal Metallic, which is being dropped. I've also got the camper mirrors...lol! The 6 speed Alli sounds awesome, but I'd rather wait to see how it pans out.

Oh well, guess this makes some of our trucks a little more unique.

Arrival blue and Charcoal where my favorite colors and I saw a lot of trucks those colors I wonder why they changed them.

I'm with ya Dozerboy! Those were my favorite colors, too. I'm also a sucker for Victory Red, which has been around for about 15 years now I think. Beats me why they only made the Arrival Blue for 2 years--I thought it was awesome! I really wanted a Dmax in that color, but there were only 4 left in the entire U.S. on dealer lots when I wanted one, and none of them were what I wanted otherwise. I couldn't order one because then I was going to miss out on the rebates at the time, so I found exactly what I wanted in Charcoal--which I love!

I'm interested to see what the new blue will look like "on the truck."

Blue Granite Metallic is currently offered on the Chevy Venture van. Graystone Metallic is offered on several Pointiac cars. I really like the Graystone. One reason I am holding off til the 06's come out.

I dont understand why the Blue Granite Metallic wont be available for the Crew Cab...

The dark grey was one of my favorite colors also. The six speed Ally will probably be awesome, but I hate having something the first year it comes out because there is always so many problems out of them.

Dealer friend told me that insiders referred to Arrival Blue as loser blue. Eye of the beholder I guess...
